The American Cancer Society recently announced the next fundraiser for the local Hope Fest in the Kendall County area. A traditional Relay For Life event will not be run this year, but other activities will be scheduled throughout the year to help raise money to fund cancer research and patient services.
The next event will be Monday through Friday, Sept. 9 to 13, at Grandma Rosie’s Sweet Treats Ice Cream and Grill, 303 W. South St. (Route 34) in Plano. They will be open from 4 to 9 p.m. Monday and 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. the rest of the week. During that time, Grandma Rosie’s will donate 15% of all revenue to the ACS Hope Fest.
Tell them you are there to support the American Cancer Society.
The menu offers sandwiches, salads and sides, as well as many soft-serve ice cream treats.
