Letter: Hunger Walk thanks

To the Editor:

The 2018 Community Interfaith CROP Hunger Walk team wishes to thank and bless the wonderful community that supported our walk/fundraising event on Oct. 7. This year we celebrated 26 years of walking and working to help hungry people locally and around the world with another successful walk.

The money raised for 2018 supports hungry and hurting people served nationally and internationally by Church World Service programs, and also serves people who rely on our two local food pantries, Our Sharing Pantry in Somonauk and the Hinckley Food Pantry in Hinckley. A special thank you goes out to our generous business donors. We could not do this without you.
