ALR rides in Sandwich in Freedom Days Parade

The American Legion Riders Post 181 from Sandwich participated in the Freedom Days Parade on July 6 in Sandwich. Several veterans’ groups (VFWs, American Legion Posts, American Legion Riders), Sandwich Fire and Police Departments, nonprofit organizations, sports groups, local businesses, churches and individuals were represented in the parade. The parade started at the Sandwich Fairgrounds along Main Street and back to the Fairgrounds. Members from the American Legion Riders from Sandwich (some being Vietnam Veterans) wanted to be in the parade to honor and thank all of our veterans for the sacrifices they have made.
