The Recycling Hour

Noon to 1 p.m. the fourth Saturday of the month – next, June 22 – at the Sandwich Public Library, 925 S. Main St. The library will recycle items such as plastic bags, ink cartridges, batteries and more.

St. Paul’s Parish Fest

4 to 8 p.m. Saturday, June 22, at St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church, 340 W. Arnold St. After Mass at 4 p.m., a catered dinner of fried chicken, hot dogs, carnitas, side dishes and desserts will be served at 5 p.m., followed by face painting, balloons, games and a bounce house. The Col. Boyd Band will play jazz music. Event includes raffles and 50/50 drawing. Dinner tickets cost $8 each or $25 for a family of five. Everyone is welcome. Pork Chop Dinner
