Sandwich Lion presented with Lazansky Award

Sandwich Lion Leo Sondgeroth (right) was presented with a George Lazansky Distinguished Service Award at the 2019 District 1-J Convention in Naperville. This award is presented annually to Lions who make outstanding contributions to Lionism. The award was established in 2007 to honor District 1-J's first governor, George Lazansky, who served from1951 to 1952.  Sondgeroth joins 10 other members of the Sandwich Lions Club who have been honored to receive this same award. Pictured is Leo Sondgeroth receiving his plaque from District 1-J Governor Susan Galvez.
