New Life for Old Bags

10:30 a.m. to noon the second Saturday of each month – next, May 11 – at the Plano Community Library, 15 W. North St. Volunteers turn discarded plastic shopping bags into plastic yarn to be crocheted into sleeping mats for the homeless. Donations of plastic bags can be left at the library. Mother’s Day Breakfast Buffet

8 to 11 a.m. Sunday, May 12, at the American Legion Post, 510 E. Dearborn St. All-you-can-eat meal sponsored by the Sons of the American Legion of Plano Post 395. Menu will include scrambled eggs, egg casserole, potatoes, bacon, sausage, biscuits and gravy, pancakes, waffles, made-to-order omelets and more. Tickets: $8 for adults, $5 for children younger than 11. This will be the group’s last breakfast of the season.

Line Dancing and Lessons

Walk-in Blood Pressure Clinics

Stone Mill Museum Hours
