No matter what instrument you play – trombone, tuba, flute, clarinet, saxophone, percussion, trumpet, horns of all types or even bassoon – the Indian Valley Community Band invites you to join them.
The band rehearses from 6 to 7:20 p.m. Mondays in the Sandwich Middle School band room, 600 S. Wells St. in Sandwich.
The band is comprised of musicians throughout the surrounding communities that are high school age through adults. The varied repertoire ranges from marches, overtures, musicals and light classics to contemporary works. There are no auditions and even rusty musicians are urged to dust off their instruments and check out this unique group.
Indian Valley Community Band was formed in 1986 and they’re looking for new musicians and former band members as they continue to make music under the direction of Jeff Ford.
For questions, call Deb at 815-786-6752 or contact any band member.
