5:15 p.m. reception, 6 p.m. dinner Tuesday, Jan. 15, at Grandma’s Table Restaurant, 1700 Douglas Road. Dinner includes a choice of three entrées (fish, chicken or beef), soup or salad, dinner rolls, vegetables, dessert and nonalcoholic drink. Cost is $20. A lower cost salad entrée can be purchased for $12. The guest speaker will be Joe Rosner of McHenry, an author and expert on personal safety and self-defense.

Dearborn St. Following the meeting, Matt Firestein, charter boat captain at Lake St. Clair’s Whopper Stopper Musky Charters, will speak on contacting deep water giants.
