Cookie Walk and Bake Sale

Christmas in the Village

Noon to 8 p.m. Friday, Dec. 7, and 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 8, and Sunday, Dec. 9, on Main Street. Visit stores and restaurants and drop off donations of nonperishable items for Leland’s food pantry. Free horse and wagon rides will be offered from 4 to 7 p.m. Friday. At 4 p.m. Saturday there will be story time, ornament decorating and visits with Santa at the Lions Club pavilion, 165 E. Railroad St.

Christmas Cantata

Plano Rockin’ Christmas

Saturday, Dec. 1, and Sunday, Dec. 2, in Plano. The annual event started Friday and continues with coffee with the mayor at the train depot from 8 to 10 a.m. Saturday and delivery of food boxes on Sunday at Centennial School.

Line Dancing and Lessons

New Life for Old Bags

North St. Volunteers turn discarded plastic shopping bags into plastic yarn to be crocheted into sleeping mats for the homeless. Donations of plastic bags can be left at the library. Cornerstone Church Food Pantry

Holiday Lock-in

6 to 8:30 p.m. Friday, Dec. 7, at the Sandwich Public Library, 925 S. Main St. Parents, do you need some time for Christmas shopping or gift wrapping without the kids? Children ages 4 to 14 are invited to a night of games, crafts, movies, food and more. No one older than 18 is allowed, except for library staff and volunteers. LaSalle St. The library will accept food donations of nonperishable canned and boxed food donations (no expired labels) at the Patron Services Desk. Receive $1 off for each donation with a limit of 20 items for $20. Donation will be given to local churches and food pantries.

Christmas on the Farm
