Fox Valley Older Adult Services will be the recipient of proceeds from fundraisers sponsored by Essential Bed and Mid-Day Play.

Come to Fox Valley Community Center, 1406 Suydam Road, Sandwich, from 3 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 4, to purchase pillows at the Pillow Palooza.

This event is sponsored by the Essential Bed Co.

Bring a nonperishable food item for the Franklin Mall Christmas Project, and Essential Bed will pay for your sales tax.

Bring your pooch to FVCC from noon to 3 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 8, and have a picture taken with Santa, just in time for the holidays. Mid-Day Play is organizing this fundraiser to benefit FVOAS.

The generosity of both these businesses along with many donors has enabled FVOAS, for the past 46 years, to help seniors continue to live vital and independent lives.

Through active adult activities at the senior center, adult day service and home services, including 24/7 private home services, FVOAS and its partner, Voluntary Action Center, assist thousands of seniors in DeKalb, Kane, Kendall and LaSalle counties.

For more information on services, call 815-786-9404 or stop by the Fox Valley Community Center at 1406 Suydam Road, Sandwich, for a personal tour.
