Spooky outing for trunk-or-treat

The American Legion Riders Post 181 from Sandwich and Open Roads ABATE of IL members participated in the 16th annual trunk-or-treat event at the United Methodist Church in Plano. Four members decorated their bikes with Halloween/fall décor and handed out candy to the children. Pictured are some of the members from American Legion Riders Post 181 and Open Roads ABATE with their decorated bikes – Bob and Cherie Mauer, Cliff Oleson and Sam Mataya with his granddaughter. Sam Mataya placed second in the best decorated trunk (skeletons, witches cauldron, scary masks, wolf) as voted on by trunk-or-treat children.
