UMC collecting for Christmas Shoeboxes

The United Methodist Church of Plano is participating with Shoebox Christmas once again this year. A small shoebox can have a big impact on a small child. What goes into the box is fun, but what comes out of it is eternal. Be a part of changing children’s lives all over the world through the power of a simple gift with Operation Christmas Child, better known as Shoebox Christmas. Deadline for the boxes to be at the church is Sunday, Nov. 11. Pictured are members from the United Methodist Church of Plano who wrapped 48 shoeboxes: Edna Griep-Laury, Arlene Gould, Karen Mikkelson and Gerri Henze.
