5:15 p.m. reception, 6 p.m. dinner Tuesday, Oct. 16, at Grandma’s Table Restaurant, 1700 Douglas Road. Dinner includes a choice of three entrées (fish, chicken or beef), soup or salad, dinner rolls, vegetables, dessert and nonalcoholic drink. Cost is $20. A lower cost salad entrée can be purchased for $12. The speaker will be Lt. Kortney D. Fink, USN, the enlisted production officer in the Navy Recruiting District, Chicago. She will speak on the recruiting problems with less than a third of America’s youth being qualified to serve in the military, and the implications for our national security.

Charlie’s Fall Fling
