Plano High School to present ‘Beauty and the Beast’

The Plano High School’s music and theater departments will present “Beauty and the Beast” this spring. Shows will be at 7 p.m. April 20, at 2 p.m. and 7 p.m. April 21, and at 2 p.m. April 22. Tickets are $12 for adults and $8 for students, seniors and military members. Tickets are available on showtix4u.com and will also be available at the door.

Almost 150 students from Plano School District 88 are participating, including nearly 40 from the high school cast, close to 50 in the youth choir, and around 30 in the high school crew. PHS classes also are contributing by building the set and painting props.

Light-up roses will be sold for $5 each for audience participation in the final scene. There will also be a raffle for “Beauty and the Beast” items including coffee mugs, hats, posters and a quilt. Raffle tickets are $1 each or six for $5.

Ad space is still available for the program. A full page ad is $25 and a half page ad is $15. Ads must be submitted by Monday, April 9. For information, email swebb@plano88.org.
