‘Takin’ It to the Streets’ planned Sunday

The Sandwich City Council agreed to close a portion of West Third Street during the occasion. Non-denominational prayers will be offered for city officials at 3 p.m., fire and police departments at 3:30 p.m., schools at 4 p.m., businesses at 4:30 p.m., and all churches at 5 p.m., while an assortment of children's activities will be available nearby. A free lunch of grilled hot dogs, chips, sweets and beverages will be served at the conclusion of the public prayers.
