‘Plano-Bologna-Sandwich Day’ co-mayors help out Franklin Mall Project

The "Plano-Bologna-Sandwich Day" co-mayors helped fill a tub for the Franklin Mall Christmas Project last week at Gjovik Chevy-GMC in Sandwich to kick off the annual campaign that helps the area needy for the coming holidays.áThe Franklin Mall Project started Nov. 11 and runs through Dec. 21, when the nonperishables and baked goods are divided up and cheer baskets delivered.áThe "Bologna, Illinois, Co-Mayors" are returning the favor to the Sandwich Lions Club for their part in collecting donated nonperishables at the recent "Plano-Bologna-Sandwich Day" event Oct. 24. Franklin Mall Project tubs can be found at local businesses in and around Sandwich.
