The First Baptist, First Lutheran and the United Methodist churches of Plano sponsored their 17th annual Trunk or Treat.

The event brought out ghoulish ghosts, superheroes, bewitching witches, pretty princesses, crafty pumpkins and many Halloween decorated trunks.

Approximately 400 children who attended enjoyed the beautifully decorated trunks, motorcycles with webbings and skeletons, treats, labyrinths, photo booth, Halloween games, refreshments, being with friends and fun.

Children and adults enjoyed the concession consisting of hot dogs, hamburgers, brownies, taffy apples, cookies, party mix and water for donations for next year’s Vacation Bible School.

An overflowing grocery cart full of canned goods collected at the Trunk or Treat event was delivered to Kendall County Community Food Pantry.

All the trunks were decorated for Halloween with children voting for the best decorated trunks.

The first place winner was Pastor Steve and Vicki for Toy Story in Woody and Jesse costumes. Second place went to the Brooke Gauer Family featuring Jesus is the true light and pumpkins galore. Third place was awarded to Cara Brummel with a graveyard and spider web display.
