Sandwich High Drama Club to present ‘Sinister Stories’

Sandwich High School's Drama Club invites you to join them this month for their 2019 fall play, "'The Lottery' and Other Sinister Stories."

Presented as an evening of three one-act plays, all the pieces are based on famous short stories: "The Lottery" and "The Summer People," by Shirley Jackson, and "The Monkey's Paw," by W.W. Jacobs. These eerie, otherworldly stories will arrive just in time for Halloween.

"The Lottery' and Other Sinister Stories" will be performed at 7 p.m. Thursday to Saturday, Oct. 24 to 26, in the SHS cafetorium.

Tickets cost $7 for adults and $5 for students and seniors.

The closing performance Saturday, Oct. 26, will be "dessert theatre." Tickets will cost $9 for adults and $7 for students/seniors. Desserts and baked goods provided by the National Honor Society will be available at intermission and included in the ticket price.

Tickets can be bought at www.sandwichdrama.com or at the door.
