IVVC names December students of the month

SANDWICH – Indian Valley Vocational Center in Sandwich announces its December 2014 list of Students of the Month. This recognition program spotlights students from 15 programs, selected by the program instructors. The criteria included are qualities such as outstanding professional work, enthusiasm, attendance, initiative, and demonstrated work ethic. Each program selects a different student each month; not all instructors select a student of the month every month.

December 2014 students of the month are David Garcia, Sandwich High School, auto body repair; Danny Bullington, Newark High School, automotive technology; Jonathan Martin, Sandwich High School, computer technology; Jacob Hill, Sandwich High School, construction technology; Jennifer Emmons, Hinckley-Big Rock High School, cosmetology; Michaela Jelinkova, Yorkville High School, culinary arts; Stacy Cantrell, Sandwich High School, drafting and design technology; Savannah Gomez, Plano High School, early childhood development; Jacobe Christian, Indian Creek High School, fire science; Jordan Heyde and Kiersten Peterson, Sandwich High School, health occupations CNA; Danielle Cunz, Indian Creek High School, health occupations exploring medical careers; Samantha Gill, Yorkville High School, law enforcement; Nolan Baumbach, Leland High School, sports medicine/management; and Joseph Grimes, Plano High School, welding and fabrication.
